About two years ago, my partner and I decided that while we loved Western Washington, specifically our home in Seattle, the commute times, sheer volume of people, and increasing costs meant it was time to relocate. Since much of my family was there, it seemed like a no-brainer to move back to my hometown of Spokane, Washington on the eastern side of the state.
