This other story is about a man who got a reading after completing an interview with a psychic. The psychic told the man that whose father who had died two years prior that the father wanted to tell Ruth, that he loved her and to throw away his neckties. This story is interesting because the reporter had not disclosed his father’s death, his mother’s name or the fact that his mother still kept his father’s ties to the psychic and yet he still knew all this.
The third story is that of a man who got a prediction about his first two jobs when he was still very young. The man was told that his first job would require him to travel very far from home and that he would hate it and this came to pass since the man acquired a job as a corporate long driver and he hated it. The psychic also told the boy that his second job would be with an Asian company and it would have him travelling a lot and this now came to be since the man was hired by a Korean shipping carrier.
