All this place does is pick your pockets, management cares about nothing but rent, maintenance is poor and unprofessional. They start with a deposit and transfer.. lets you view a sample apartment, then before you can view the place you are moving in they make sure you have the first months rent, deposit and renter’s insurance then you can find crazy an apartment for which you signed a 1-year lease. You’ll be lucky if you get something right because maintenance can’t even bite a nail or fix bathroom fixtures. Save your time and money and look elsewhere…this place is a nightmare. I wish I could give them zero stars because they are …… NONE!!!

I stayed there for a year. After many negotiations, the constant running water in the bathroom was never clean.. there is mold, mice in the apartment, my child is always sick.

Crazy self control! Even though the new property management fixed up the outside of the houses and finally painted the walls and installed new carpet in the hallway, they don’t care about the tenants. They will take your money and you will not hear from them when you need to take care of something in your apartment. No follow up and no communication. There are rats in several units in my building and the management team acts like it’s not a problem and is not urgent to resolve the situation. Save your money and headache and put some!

When I lived here I received terrible service and was rarely helped in the way I needed. My washing machine broke down within a week of living there and was never fixed and ticketed. The front door lock broke after a month of living in it and was never fixed when I moved out after 14 months, not allowing anyone to walk all the way through the complex. I have talked to several people about not renewing the lease, but I have been ignored and charged an extra month when I don’t live there. If you can find another apartment or house in the area, I would choose it over this place.

Poor management… they ignore you unless you swim in your hallway… or catch fire. I have written to many agencies…management…maintenance..us…my BROKEN washing machine is still sitting on the 3rd floor and they have not removed it in 3 weeks! I had to spend $1,700.00 of my own money on a new machine THAT I WOULD OWN MYSELF when I decided to leave. I spent 3 weeks air drying clothes and trying to get someone to get a working machine. The dryer didn’t work from day one! I hope another device goes and I leave them with one exit. nobody cares here

The size and design are good, but there is nothing good about this place. The management is terrible and they don’t do their job. They refuse to repair anything that is not an active emergency. My apartment was not cleaned well and was disgusting during the trip. I was shown a very nice apartment in the tour and I feel very cheated. I didn’t get a renovated apartment, yet everything was clean and functional and necessary.

The buildings are literally full of mold. The app takes forever to answer calls (if they even answer). We have had no light in our kitchen for over 6 months. So glad she’s gone. Save yourself the trouble and buy a tent instead.

Unprofessional property manager. They will tell you that your apartment will be renovated and it won’t. They charge a very high rent for waste.

Premium Utility – Electronics, Water and Trash. You should consider an additional $200 in monthly rent. Also $125 for the inspection fee when you leave. You will not receive a refund after paying for the service previously. During my tenancy I had to deal with disrespect from neighbors due to the rough floor. If you have children or children, don’t consider staying here unless you want to be in a half basement on the first floor.

I have had a wonderful time and experience living in Addison at English Village for the past 7 years. It is a very simple place. It has been a great pleasure to live here for many years. Everything about the place made it feel like my own retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The equipment is a great bonus, as is the very reasonable rent. Managers are very responsive, great experience all around Overall, this is a great place to live, right next to the 309, very close to the Turnpike and shopping options. Also next door to Trader Joes, ALDI, AMC, no worries about evening entertainment, just walk in!! They allow dogs, which is a plus for many of my friends. Amazing office staff and I love the people/community here who are so welcoming During my stay, it was a great experience overall. I am constantly impressed and very grateful for the beautiful grounds, the garden. The apartment has lots of storage, outdoor space and everything we wanted in a house. The place is perfect. We have never had any official complaints about living here. I am more than happy to give the highest rating and have already recommended this place to many of my friends.

It wasn’t too much to say as we have always had the best deal for Addison and I wanted to take this opportunity to thank our current management in this community. Current office managers ie. Yvonne, Stephanie, Claire, Mike and the maintenance experts ie. Freddy and John make the experience of living in this apartment really worth it. They are very helpful, quick and accommodating to our needs – I have every confidence that any problem, say a clogged sink or dishwasher or light bulbs, will be resolved promptly.
