Mark Ross has joined home décor designer and supplier Chelsea House as showroom designer. In this role, he will work with Creative Director Bradshaw Orrell and his team. “We undertook an extensive search to find the right designer that could reflect the sophistication and creativity of the products in the showroom presentation,” said Pam Cain, president of the Rocky Mount, N.C.-based company. “Mark and Bradshaw make a formidable team and the perfect pairing to continue to advance the inspiring and exciting showroom experience.” Ross has more than 30 years of experience in visual merchandising and product development. The Louisville, Ky.-based resource announced that the sales team has been restructured and expanded to better personalize the ordering journey and to increase coverage. Second, a cloud-based Enterprise Retail Planning (ERP) system will be implemented by March 2021. “By the summer shows, Blue Ocean Traders will deliver real-time inventory information to help our customers manage their buying decisions with greater confidence,” said Chris Conley, director of sales. “This technology is especially useful for on-the-spot purchasing with tight delivery turn-around. Accent furniture, lighting, wall décor and decorative accessory supplier Chelsea House has named Pam Cain president, effective immediately, after the retirement of longtime president Bill Cain (no relation). Pam Cain Pam Cain has been associated with Chelsea House for more than 30 years first in an external marketing position, then as vice president of the company, and then in an internal marketing position when Wildwood acquired the company in 2011. Bill Cain had led Rocky Mount, N.C.-based Chelsea House for more than two decades. His father Alvin Cain founded the home furnishings company 48 years ago.
