NEW YORK – Nonprofit group Nest is celebrating its fifteenth anniversary by creating the Energy of Craft marketing campaign.

As a part of the marketing campaign, every new product that’s made celebrates a price that’s core to Nest’s journey and is handmade by a member of the corporate’s artisan and maker guild.

All purchases from the marketing campaign will present affect to the artisan who created it and can assist the corporate’s aim to create a greater world by means of craft.

Rebecca van Bergen based Nest in 2006 to assist the expansion and improvement of craft. And right now, the corporate believes its work has unlocked the facility of handicrafts to enhance the world.

“We’ve seen how a handwoven cocoon chair has created a protected haven for the ladies in high-risk areas of El Salvador who craft it,” the corporate mentioned on its web site. “Every handwoven sweetgrass basket from South Carolina’s Lowcountry preserves a 300-year-old custom. And, hand-thrown ceramic bowls are supporting the re-entry into society of previously incarcerated people.”
